Overgrown brush, deadfall and crowded trees close to a building give a wildfire a path to it. We clear and thin that flammable material with a forestry mulcher, skid steer and grapple - ground up into mulch right there, or hauled off, whichever fits your place.
It’s the right work for cabins and homes in Island Park, Ashton, Swan Valley and Teton Valley, and for acreage, fence lines, driveways and access roads closer to town. The goal is to reduce fuel and slow fire spread near your home. Every job starts with a free site survey, and we photograph the work before and after so you have it on record.

How a job works
- Free site survey. We walk your property with you and look at what’s growing around your buildings and along your drive.
- Written plan and quote. What we’ll clear, where, and whether it gets mulched in place or hauled off - in writing.
- The work. Brush, deadfall and crowded trees cleared with the mulcher, skid steer and grapple.
- Walk-through. We walk it with you when we’re done.
- Before-and-after photos. Yours to keep, so you have the work on record.
The ground around your home
Based on NFPA home ignition zone guidance, measured out from the house.
Keep it clear of anything that burns - mostly hand work. We’ll point it out on the survey.
Thin out brush and small trees so fire can’t climb into the trees or run up to the house.
Cut back brush and deadfall and thin crowded trees - where the mulcher does its best work.
Clearing reduces fuel and slows fire spread near your home. Wildfire risk can be reduced, not eliminated.
